Wisnu Candra

Wisnu Candra, was born on the 11th in East Semarang, Indonesia. He grew up with activities of cooking cakes, sewing clothes, soccer clubs, illegal motorcycle racing, underground local music, and being a metal factory worker. These riches helped Wisnu to develop his films using observational and constructivist methods. His first short film titled "Meja-Makan/ Goodbye, Table Manner - 2018" won the Best Short Film award at FESTCIL 2018 Surabaya, Best Director & Best Sound Designer at the 2019 Indonesian Student Film Festival in Bandar Lampung. For Wisnu, film are a circus and loneliness, that's why at the end of his films, he gives the slogan "You'll Never Watch Alone".
